Everyone in the Kenton community is concerned about the vicious nature of the current spate of crime.

After the most recent attack the criminal’s vehicle was noticed at the Kariega slipway and main beach car park, after which it disappeared.  We are concerned that there are not enough cameras on the east side of Kariega road.

We have called a meeting between KOSRA's crime team, HiTec and Police for Tuesday 31 July 2018.  On the Agenda:

  1. To decide where new cameras can be installed and how we can fund them.
  2. Find out what support Hitec needs to provide for a more comprehensive service to our community. This might mean getting another vehicle, more staff and better equipment in the control room. Once again we as a community will need to contribute to the costs.

Kosra is only able to assist financially from contributions it receives from the community. I urge you to become a member of Kosra. The annual subscription is R400.  Get in touch on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.for more details.
