Sowing seeds of encouragement!

October 2020 is going to be an exciting month for gardeners in Port Alfred and Kenton-on-Sea when 15 carefully selected and diverse gardens will be on show for everyone to see!

PA & KOS Open Gardens 2020 was created in collaboration with their respective Garden Clubs and a prominent local landscape designer, as an opportunity, not only to encourage budding gardeners but also to boost the local economy by attracting more visitors to the area.

The inaugural Open Gardens will take place over two weekends in October 2020 when you’ll be able to stroll through the gardens at leisure gathering inspiration along the way. Or you can just sit and relax under a tree canopy and enjoy a cup of tea with scones, jam and cream.

Proceeds from Open Gardens will support local charities and public spaces. Jot the dates in your diary so you can plan a visit, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

Weekends of the 10 & 11 and 17 & 18 October 2020. Tickets will be available shortly.

  1. Congratulations on reviving this! People loved going to see the gardens some years back now. Think it was an ERA initiative then.

  2. Lovely idea!

  3. Sounds delightful. Thanks for organizing it.
