Meet the KOSRA Team.

A group of skilled individuals working to better our town. Trust the team, trust the process. We are working towards a better Kenton and surrounds.

Kevin van Huyssteen

Attorney with more than 40 years experience
(KOSRA Chairman)

Arthur Taute

Professional civil engineer with more than 40 years experience in roads and road rehabilitation as well as in infrastructure asset management.

Steve Barwick

30 plus years as a director working in the financial sector.

Tom Lawless

Tom Lawless, CA with over 25 years capital markets’ experience. Self employed for another 10 years as a secondee/contractor/mentor to municipalities & municipal entities, thereafter 10 years as a part time financial manager / or CFO.

Adrian Purdon

KOSRA Ndlambe infrastructure liaison and relationship developer who speaks the local language.

Steve Tredoux

Corporate executive for 35 years. Estate Agent in Kenton for the last 4 years.

Mike Bailey

Lived permanently in Kenton for the past 34 years. Developed and managed the Spar for 16 of those years. Worked in the real estate industry for a number of years with valuable experience in property market valuations.

Vivienne Holmes

B.Comm & H.Dip.Acc with more than 20 years experience in financial roles.

Martin Smook

25 plus years experience with database programming and design and interface programming with Microsoft Office products.

Trish Barwick

32 years working in the IT sector responsible for sales and marketing.

Andre Shearer

Lived and worked in multiple European countries and then founded and ran a New York based wine import company for 30 years. Founded and currently running two not for profits in the US and South Africa, focusing on the Empowerment and training of women Early Childhood teachers in some of our most impoverished communities.

Ange Loock-Shearer

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Stellenbosch and then lived in many countries in Europe for 6 years and New York for 24 years, where I ran a business. I returned to SA in 2006 and started my Alternative Natural Health Practice and Import Company. My family has holidayed in Kenton for more than 60 years. I am a passionate Environmentalist.
