Recycling remains a frustrating and challenging concern for KOSRA.

In order to make recycling feasible, we need everyone in the greater Kenton area to recycle

Domestic waste, household waste, garbage, trash: no matter what we to call it, we all have to get rid of it.

Bushmans Recycling Depot is very short of recyclables, especially glass bottles. It may be a bother for you to sort your plastics and cardboard but surely you can deliver glass and cardboard boxes!

In the quest for a ‘single-use-plastic-free-Kenton’ we would like to encourage you to follow the seven R’s:

One of KOSRA’s big challenges is to get recycling in Kenton up and running again. And the good news is - we’re nearly there!

There were lots of residents in Kenton who embraced the recycling project. The decrease in volume of waste going into the Port Alfred and Alexandria landfill sites was immense.
