Waste Recycling

by | Apr 17, 2024 | Blog, Recycling & Waste

As many would have noticed the Recycling Trailer made its maiden appearance across the road from Buco on Tuesday 16 April.

The trailer will be positioned at this point on a Tuesday and Thursday going forward. Please make an effort to support this initiative so that it remains viable for the trailer to be stationed there.

Please also adhere to the list of recyclables so that we can have an immediate and positive impact on the new owner and his initiatives to turn Bushman’s Recyclables into a viable operation and business.

Should you have scrap metal, please talk to Kellis directly about managing the recycling aspect associated with this product.

Depositing recyclables at the trailer is free. You do not need to pay for this service at this point.

However should you be in a position to provide financial assistance or sponsor this initiative, please would you do so via KOSRA and do not tip the person standing at the trailer.

That individual is remunerated by the owner of the business Kellis. You can be sure any tips given to the trailer monitor will not get to the business owner.

When using the KOSRA account please reference your donation as Recycling.

This way the monies donated will benefit all involved at the business and not just the individual monitoring the trailer when it is on site in Kenton.

Should you miss the two days in town please take your recyclables to Bushman’s Recycling situate in the Bushmans Industrial Area and do not leave your bags at the collection site in town if the trailer is not there.

We really need this recycling effort to succeed if we as a Community want to make a difference in our village. Product and lots of it are critical to the ongoing success of this business…please do your utmost to assist!
