Christmas is coming

Christmas is coming the geese are getting fat…

There’s only nine weeks left until the ‘Festive Season’ begins in full swing! Are you ready? Is your shop stocked to the hilt with goodies for the holiday makers to buy? Are your AirBnB bookings rolling in? Is your guest house fully booked and your home let out to visitors?

We certainly hope so, as this is the time when Kenton’s business community makes its money! A time to work hard and reap the rewards for the year ahead!

But what happens if the visitors don’t come – what happens to your business?

Last year it was the dire water situation that had business owners shouting the odds! That now appears to be fixed! This year it WILL be security issues, unless we can secure enough funding for the extra holiday season guarding!

The response from RESIDENTS AND HOMEOWNERS to our last appeal was very encouraging. Thank you to each and every one who contributed so generously – we raised nearly half the amount required to protect residents and visitors as best we can this season!

We now need our BUSINESS OWNERS to dig into their pockets to ensure their customers safety, not just when they’re shopping but when they are relaxing and playing or sleeping!

I AM HAPPY TO MAKE A DONATION TO HELP KEEP MY CUSTOMER SAFE
