Keeping Kenton Safe

by | Nov 8, 2023 | Blog, Security

Living in a relatively low-crime area is one of the many pleasures of residing or holidaying in Kenton. KOSRA would like to thank all those residents who have contributed towards the 2023/2024 period.

Keeping our town safe over peak seasons and during the year is a costly but necessary exercise:

  • Christmas season – 8 Guards for 20 nights is R136 000.00.
  • Easter time frame – 6 Guards for seven nights is R35 700.00.
  • KOSRA contributes R3000 a month to the Kenton and Bushmans Night Watch team. This contribution is utilized solely for fuel when the Night Watch do patrols. There are approximately 30 Night Watch crew, all of whom do a fantastic job
  • KOSRA spends R207 700.00 annually on Security.

Security contributions are not compulsory and not all Homeowners of Kenton are members of KOSRA.
