As the year comes to a close, so does the long list of repairs following the stormy weather.

  • Middle Beach repair will be 99% completed today.
  • Removed a massive amount of sand ensuring a larger parking area
  • Kariega slipway repaired and Estuary Care will finish the jetty shortly.
  • Trees at Kariega slipway, entrance to Vasco da Gama, parts of Bathurst street & Middle beach road trimmed back.
  • Lower Westbourne paving project is complete.

KOSRA would like to extend a huge thank you to:

  • Chamber for supervising the Middle Beach rebuild.
  • Rotary, KOSRA, Round Table, Seagull Regata and Ndlambe all assisted in funding the build plus thank you to the community members who made donations.
  • For donations of Earth Moving Equipment our thanks go to Dawie vd Westhuizen.
  • Jan Pro Construction along with Paljas Construction all assisted tremendously in getting the project completed.
  • Sutherland Transport for removing large amount of rubble and sand

Thank you, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season
